We usually keep ourselves so distracted with food, phone, electronics and people that we miss essential knowledge about who we are. How often do we touch our phone or reach for any electronic device in a day? These things keep us distracted from our thoughts and from knowing ourselves and thus we are never pushed to ask ourselves how we’re really feeling.

We are been constantly criticized or teased for being who we are. Maybe you loved to dance as a child but you were told that it’s a bad or stupid choice to join dance classes. Or maybe you are a gay but you are told that it’s strange or ugly to be a gay. You feel ashamed and unworthy and consequently try to bury those parts of yourself as you were told that you have to be moulded in order to fit in. And doing this for a long time have made you lose the track of who you really are.

So here are 151 questions to ask yourself that will help you to know your true self to some extent and I encourage you to answer them with the very first thing that comes to your mind. And then once you are done, ask why you answered the way you did.
